If this is God’s plan, God is a terrible planner. (No offense if you’re reading this, God. You did a great job with that other stuff, like waterfalls and pandas.)Here’s the thing about “God’s plan.” Much like “everything happens for a reason,” some people find this belief to be genuinely comforting. But when you’re in the middle of something absolutely terrible and tragic and your whole world has fallen apart, it can be a really maddening, frustrating (and sometimes throwing things inducing) thing to hear. Like, really? Was this the best he could do?
